Intro to Blacksmithing - Making an S Hook - DR0.VUCN

(16-Adult) This class is a basic introduction to the art of metalworking in the blacksmith shop. Students will attempt to make an “S” hook by heating and forging raw steel into a decorative tool. Students must supply themselves with natural-fiber gloves (such as leather or cotton), eye protection (prescription lenses or shatter proof safety glasses), as well as a face covering. All other tools and materials will be provided.
