Come out to the Park in the pre-dawn hours to view the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. This shower is one of the biggest of the year with a chance to see up to 75 meteors an hour. We provide you with a safe viewing space in the park, you bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets. Restrooms are available. Please be prepared to social distance and wear masks if entering the building. Cancelled for rain and thick cloud cover.
