Swimming Merit Badge is Eagle-required. Scout must demonstrate basic swimming skills as well as first aid, self-rescue and water safety skills. Prerequisite: Scout must be able to pass the BSA Swimmer test.
This will complete the swimming merit badge IF scout swimming skills are acceptable. Anyone needing more practice with swimming skills will receive a partial and can come back and test out at no charge.
