(12-Adult) Join us on this guided kayak tour of the largest ship graveyard in the Western Hemisphere. Paddle around and over the long-abandoned hulls of vessels dating back to the 18th century and view the interesting ecosystems that they support today. Along the way we have a chance of glimpsing eagles, ospreys and most of the species of waterfowl that call the river home. Participants will be divided among single and tandem kayaks which are provided. Bring lunch, drinks, towels and clothing/footwear that you don't mind getting wet. Trip departs from Burke Lake Park near the Ice Cream Parlor at 10am and returns at 5pm. Trip cancelation deadline: September 18, 2019. ~
