(Adults) The Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) program is designed for pool operators and aquatic facility management staff. This comprehensive course covers all key components of swimming pool operations, mechanical systems, chemicals and risk management. Certification can be achieved by passing the 50-question, AFO Certification examination with a score of seventy-eight percent (78%) or better. Certification is valid for 5 years. The AFO course is a two-day, instructor-led training that includes the exam on the second day. Candidates will receive the AFO manual to review prior to the course start.
Materials must be received by 10 days before the class, so class registration has closed as of March 6th.
