Accotink Adventure Camp (9-13 yrs.)

(9-13 yrs.) Join us for the ultimate outdoor camp! Activities include boating (learning about kayaking techniques and equipment), fishing, hiking, orienteering, off road biking, camping skills, animal tracking, reptile and amphibian identification and more. Archery Camp at Burke Lake (9-15 yrs.)

(9-15 yrs.) Develop archery skills using Olympic-style (recurve) bows in this outdoor camp. Through focused instruction, learn shooting techniques and attention to detail. Other archery-related activities provide a broader introduction to the sport in general. Some weeks are 9am-1pm. Weeks that operate 9am-4pm also include boating, fishing and mini-golf. Bring snack, lunch and drink. No camp July 5. Camp operation is subject to weather and is held at the archery field to the right as you enter the park. Canoe Rentals

Whether you’re a summer camp veteran with fond memories of days spent on the water or new to this ancient form of boating we’ve got the canoes you’re looking for! Our canoes can seat up to 3 passengers and are a great way to explore our waterfront parks. Each rental includes a boat, paddles, and a PFD. So grab some snacks, drinks, and sunscreen and then head out to explore our riparian environments! Boat rentals can only be made by individuals 18 years and older. All canoe passengers must be 3 years and older with at least one other passenger 16 years and older. Life jackets are mandatory for all passengers and must be worn at all times. *Tickets are sold per canoe, each canoe can seat up to 3 passengers *


Lakeside Splash & Explore Camp (6-11 yrs.)

(6-11 yrs.) Our lakeside camp features weekly swimming at our famous Water Mine Family Swimmin’ Hole (dependent on weather and water park operation). Campers enjoy activities such as fishing, hiking, nature crafts, games, boating, an introduction to archery and exciting nature themes (listed online). Bring a swimsuit, towel, bag lunch, snacks and water bottle. No camp July 5. Camps run rain or shine. Once registered, download camp forms from website.


River Fishing by Boat (5-Adult)

(5-Adult) Fish for smallmouth bass and sunfish from a canoe or jon boat. Get started with an introduction to boating and fishing basics. Previous experience rowing or paddling not required. Boats and PFDs provided. Fishing rods and bait provided. Canceled if inclement weather or hazardous river conditions. Maximum three participants per boat, one of whom must be 16 or older. Each participant must register.
