Pee Wee Paddler 1 (3-5 yrs.)

(3-5 yrs.) Prerequisite: Child must leave parent willingly, be comfortable in the water, follow directions and function well in a group. When possible, children are grouped by ability. Class emphasizes helping children gain basic aquatic skills including entering and exiting the water safely, blowing bubbles with mouth and nose submerged, submerging under water. With assistance students learn to float and glide on front and back, rolling from front to back and back to front, swimming using arms and legs on front and back at least two body lengths. For safety reasons, flotation devices may be used. Flotation devices are used for all Pee Wee 1 classes at Audrey Moore and Franconia Rec Centers.


Pee Wee Paddler 2 (3-5 yrs.)

(3-5 yrs.) Prerequisites: Pee Wee Paddler 1 or equivalent skill proficiency. Class emphasizes helping children increase independence in their skill performance while continuing to increase comfort in the water. Skills include bobbing, floating and gliding on front and back with and without assistance, swimming on front and back at least three body lengths with and without assistance. Flotation devices may be used.


STEAM Art - DIY Kaleidoscope (5-12yrs)

(5-12 yrs.) Explore the magic of light and reflection with Kidcreate. Campers will build their own kaleidoscope, uncovering the science behind dazzling patterns. It’s a hands-on adventure in art, science, and imagination.


3D Printing & Game Design (6-12 yrs.)

(6-12 yrs.) Engage your young tech-enthusiasts with two cutting-edge, 3D technologies for a unique learning experience with Stem exCEL. Design, create and print 3D objects. Build your own video game integrating the 3D models you create. Campers get 3D prints and digital files of their creations.


Academy of Magic & Balloon Sculptures (6-12y)

(6-12 yrs) Spirit Pros unlocks the secrets of magic as campers learn sleight of hand, rope restorations, and even levitation tricks. They’ll twist balloons into animals, swords, and creative shapes to share with friends. The week wraps up with a magic showcase video, where every camper gets to amaze their family with what they’ve learned. Parent note: Camp is not recommended for children with latex allergies. No camp June 19 or July 3.


ACTion! Acting Adventures (7-14 yr)

(7-14 yrs.) Take center stage in this Moonlit Wings camp inspired by your favorite films and plays. Explore short skits, improv games, musical numbers and get in the spotlight. Bring swimsuit/towel for a pool break.. Once registered, download camp forms from website.


ACTion! Wickedly Oz for Good (7-14yrs)

(7-14 yrs.) Young performers in this Moonlit Wings camp take a magical journey to the Emerald City with original scenes, songs, and games inspired by Wicked, The Wizard of Oz, and Harry Potter. Campers explore character creation, improv and a talent show while sharpening acting and singing skills and bringing spellbinding stories to life. All experience levels welcome. Bring swimsuit/towel for afternoon swim break.


Adapted Intro to Basic Strokes (8-Adult)

(8-Adult) Prerequisite: Students must be able to swim a minimum of 15 yards independently. This class is designed to prepare students with disabilities for more advanced competitive swimming and focuses on the basic steps and progressions of the four competitive strokes: front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke and butterfly.


Advanced Lap Swim (13-Adult)

The ultimate swimming workout that helps students refine strokes to increase efficiency, endurance and swim distance. Students are taught how to adjust their personal workout to keep interest and gradually increase their workout to make it more challenging.


All Sports Camp (6 1/2-12 1/2 yrs)

(6 1/2-12 1/2 yrs) Learn the fundamentals of multiple sports including football, volleyball, soccer, baseball, track and lacrosse with Alpha Sports. Campers are grouped by age and enjoy participating in scrimmages and tournaments.

(7-11 yrs.) Learn the fundamentals of multiple sports including football, volleyball, soccer, baseball, track and lacrosse with Alpha Sports. Campers are grouped by age and enjoy participating in scrimmages and tournaments.


Amazing Acts Circus Camp (6-12 yrs)

(6-12 yrs.) This Spirit Pros camp blends the excitement of circus arts with hands-on creativity. Campers will practice on a variety of circus equipment, create balloon animals and sculptures, and learn to juggle scarves, rings, balls, and clubs. From tightrope walking and stilts to balance boards, barrels, and basic acrobatics, campers will build confidence, coordination, and showmanship in a safe and supportive environment. Rec Center camps bring swimsuit/towel for afternoon swim break. Parent note: A signed participant release is due on the first day. Camp is not recommended for children with latex allergies. No camp July 3.


Aqua Adventures (7-12 yrs)

(7-12 yrs.) A great camp for high-level swimmers. Activities include water safety, swim clinics, water relays and water sports like volleyball and basketball. Campers also enjoy out-of-pool games/activities. Prerequisite: child must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted, pass a swim test, be comfortable in deep water and tread water for two minutes. Bring at least two swimsuits, two towels, snacks, lunch, and water bottle. No camp June 19 and July 3. FCPS last day of school June 17.


Art Inspired by Descendants (5-12 yrs)

(5-12 yrs.) Join Kidcreate to design wickedly cool art inspired by Descendants. Campers channel their inner villain or hero as they craft unique pieces. This camp encourages imagination, improves skills, and brings Descendants' magic to life.


Art of Warm and Cool Colors (5 1/2-12 yrs.)

(5 1/2-12 yrs.) Paint with Abrakadoodle while you discover the magic of the color wheel! Explore color theory while learning about how well-known artists, Elizabeth Estivalet and Henry Rousseau.


Aspiring Fashionistas (10-13 yrs.)

(10-13 yrs.) In this stylish program for boys and girls, Spark Business Academy campers gain knowledge of the fashion industry and develop skills in fashion design, fashion marketing, fashion journalism and branding. Campers develop sketching skills, explore popular brands, analyze industry trends, design various articles of clothing, define their own brand and explore careers in fashion.


Baby & Me Swim (6 mos.-18 mos.)

(6 mos.-18 mos.) Register your baby for this class designed for babies and their parent(s), or other favorite adult who want to learn water adjustment and aquatic skills together. Learn how to enter and exit the water in a safe manner, feel comfortable in the water and explore submerging to the mouth, nose and eyes. Explore buoyancy on front and back, change body position and learn safety information. Two adults may participate with each child. Babies must wear tight-fitting swim diaper and plastic pants under bathing suit.


Bakers & Makers Camp (5-11yrs)

(5-11 yrs.) Bakers & Makers is the ultimate creative program, blending the worlds of baking and crafting. Each day, Baroody campers will learn the basics of sewing and baking, allowing their creativity to flourish. Whether it's baking a scrumptious treat or crafting a unique creation, each child will have something special to take home and cherish.


Ballet Dance Camp (6-12yrs)

(6-12 yrs.) Envision ballet dance camp is for campers who would like to learn or continue learning ballet. Campers will do arts and crafts, play games, meet new friends, and learn ballet. At the end of the week campers will put on a dance performance. Bring a swimsuit and towel daily for an afternoon swim break. No camp July 3.


Baroody Pickleball Camp (7-12 yrs)

(7-12 yrs.) Pickleball is a fast-paced paddle sport that combines tennis, table tennis and badminton. Learn the rules of pickleball and practice basic skills through games with Baroody camps. Campers will work as a team while competing in tournament style matches.


Baroody Sports & PE Games (5-12)

(5-12 yrs.) Play some of the best sports and PE games ever invented. Baroody campers will choose from knockout, extreme kickball, handball, capture the flag, modified dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, floor hockey and soccer. Our goal is to motivate each player to compete with high effort and a positive attitude towards self and others. No camp July 3.


Baroody STEM Adventures (5-12yrs)

(5-12 yrs.) Join Baroody camps to delve into various aspects of STEM, exploring topics such as robotics, chemistry, coding, and game design. Our hands-on approach includes interactive experiments such as creating potions and crafting slime, as well as problem-solving activities like developing robotic contraptions.


Baroody Winter WonderCamp (5-12yrs)

(5-12 yrs.) Celebrate all your favorite things about winter with Baroody camps. From experimenting with snowstorms in a jar to designing your own snowflakes, campers will feel like they just left the North Pole. Bring swimsuit/towel daily for an afternoon swim break.


Baseball & Games Camp (6-12 yrs.)

(6-14 yrs.) This SMUV Sports camp focuses on baseball and a variety of different field activities such as capture the flag and kickball. Rec Center camp includes an afternoon swim break. No camp July 3.


Baseball Beginners Camp (5-6y)

(5-6 yrs.) US9 offers a beginner’s half-day camp designed to teach the basics. Campers are introduced to the basics of throwing, catching, fielding, hitting and baserunning. Camp consists of attention-grabbing, short sessions of skill related activities using batting drills, safety balls, bean bags and targets. No camp June 19 or July 3.
