(8-12 yrs.) Students will investigate what adaptations and behaviors are needed to survive in various biomes by examining a different creature each week. Students will create their own 3-D species and habitat using various art mediums and utilizing the engineering design process.
(3-5 yrs.) Welcome to LEGO STEAM Park, where children investigate the world of early science, technology, engineering, art and math. Students construct parts of a STEAM theme park full of moving rides and fun games. As students return to the STEAM park, they will grow their understanding of gears, motion, measurement, and solving problems together in a fun and engaging way.
(2-5 yrs.) Explore Colvin Run Mill with your toddler or preschooler through STEAM activities, hands-on history, crafts, stories, and games. Programs include indoor and outdoor activities. Adults must participate with children. A different program each week: 9/29: Discover Waterwheels; 10/13: Making and Drinking Apple Cider; 10/27: Fall Colors; and 11/10: Giving Thanks.
