Campers draw self-portraits, mold sculptures, and create captivating collages—cultivating essential creativity and risk-taking skills. As campers explore the world of art, from da Vinci to Kahlo, they’ll show their creativity and grow their confidence by sharing their work with others.

(6-13 yrs.) Campers will create textured fall trees and watercolor autumn landscapes in addition to exploring other art mediums.

(5-7 yrs.) Create “magic” potions and exciting chemical reactions that will blow your mind with Baroody Camps. Erupt a volcano, make indoor snow, grow crystals and blast a rocket into the air. Learn about the states of matter and how things change with mixtures, solutions and chemical reactions. No camp January 1.

(6-9 yrs.) Transform your love of games into a start down the valuable path of learning to code. CyberTeck Academy campers learn to make their own versions of popular games, showing them how to take an idea and turn it into reality. Using Scratch’s powerful visual coding interface campers will create scripts that can control art assets they create.

Learn the fundamentals of game design, programming, art and design basics, all while crafting an engaging comic book story that students will be able to create and play. (6-13 yrs.) Campers will create a thankful windchime out of paper cups and yarn, as well as make some fun fall-themed creations

(7-12 yrs.) Using the innovative Procreate software, campers will master digital brush strokes, transitioning smoothly from sketching and painting to fine detailing in this Baroody camp. Traditional art concepts will be blended with the arsenal of a digital medium. Each camp will produce a unique art project that can be proudly displayed at home.

(6-12 yrs.) Which animal will be elected President of the Kidwell Farm Yard? Campers will meet and learn about the farm animal candidates, create a campaign with posters and buttons, write a speech and hold and election to get a farm animal elected. the winner will pardon a turkey for Thanksgiving. Campers should bring snack, water and lunch.

(5-8 yrs.) Explore the world of fossils and geology with The Science Seed. Erupt your own volcano, create and excavate a dino dig, explore real fossils, and make a cast of a real fossil. Round out the day with an outside break, a science-related story time and a daily journal entry.

Campers will engage in hands-on activities then will transition to easy to use drag-and-drop interface to create programs, solve problems and design games. (6-9 yrs) CyberTeck Academy campers will learn how to create their own custom gameplay items and elements using MCreator and Minecraft. Create artwork for various items and implement them into the game with custom behaviors. Design your own custom blocks, weapons, food and biomes.

(6-11 yrs.) Join a top-secret mission to solve mysteries. Follow a treasure map to collect clues and decipher coded messages. Engage in experiments to extract real DNA, discover the magic of invisible ink, and create your own spy gadgets and treasure maps to challenge your fellow spies. Solve the mystery with outdoor activities, games, experiments and crafts. No camp December 24 and 25.

(6-13 yrs.) Let your imagination take flight! Enter a magical world where dragons soar, unicorns sparkle, and legendary creatures come to life. Campers will create enchanting crafts inspired by myths, fairy tales, and fantasy while exploring a variety of artistic materials and techniques.

(5-12 yrs.) Send your young artist to Kidcreate to make all they will need for a fabulous New Year’s Eve celebration. We will create noisemakers, party poppers, and hats to ring in the New Year. No camp January 1.

(6-13 yrs.) A world of wonder and creation awaits you this winter at North Pole Magic! From cheerful decorations and handmade gifts, every project is inspired by the magic of the North Pole. Using a mix of fun materials — clay, paint, wood, fabric, and more — campers will create keepsakes they’ll be proud to keep (or share!).

(5-12 yrs.) During this Kidcreate camp, kids will be guided painting a snowy day scene.

(6-12 yrs.) What skills did early settlers need to survive when Fairfax was still a frontier country? Learn how they adapted to create a new way of life through fire making, animal tracking, shelter-building, and foraging for edible plants.

(6-13 yrs.) Get ready for a day of frosty fun! At Polar Party, campers will create Arctic-inspired crafts featuring polar animals, snowy landscapes, and winter wonders using a variety of fun materials and techniques.

(6-12 yrs.) With Mudskippers instructors campers will sculpt, shape, and create using clay and various modeling compounds. Design frosty snowmen, sparkling ornaments, winter animals, and other seasonal masterpieces. Each day will feature hands-on projects that encourage creativity, imagination, and skill-building. No camp December 24, 25 and January 1.

(6-12 yrs.) Learn important problem-solving and design skills by using block coding and programming in Scratch to create your own 2D game. Using your skills you will utilize the more advanced Roblox Studio to create your own 3D game. STEM exCEL campers will learn how to build complex creations and compare the mechanics of a 2D game to a 3D game. Campers leave with a digital copy of their work.

(7-14 yrs.) At Bach to Rock, campers are encouraged to practice and perform as part of a rock band. By the end of the camp, each band will perform on stage and create an audio recording. No music experience is required to join our rock band! No camp December 24, 25 and January 1.
