(6-10 yrs.) Design and build your way through the animal kingdom, from sea to safari, using tens of thousands of LEGO® parts. With the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor, you’ll recreate diverse habitats while crafting animals in their natural surroundings.
(6-11 yrs.) Join our naturalists to learn about how animals prepare for winter by catching food, finding shelter and preparing to hibernate. Practice skills humans use to stay safe and warm when adventuring in the cold outdoors. Play games, enjoy hands-on activities and engage in cool experiments. No camp January 1.
(16-Adult) Take your mind off the holiday hubbub and celebrate the winter solstice in the forests and fields of Riverbend Park. Start each morning with a mindfulness activity, then take a peaceful walk in the woods to look for winter wildlife and take in the scenery. End each day cozied up in the nature center sipping hot botanicals and making naturally-crafted creations to decorate your home. Conclude the week with a bonfire ceremony to set intentions for the new year. No camp December 24 and 25.
