Indoor Arena Dog Use

Reserve your off-leash time now with your ticket purchase below. Bring your dogs to enjoy some off-leash fun in Frying Pan’s Indoor Arena. Dogs can run and play in the fenced in 110’ x 215’ arena. Click below to reserve your 30-minute time slot. Each time slot is limited to owner(s) and their household dogs. Dog trainers allowed. All dogs must be legally licensed and vaccinated. Dogs must wear proof of license, and vaccination documents must be available upon request. Dogs must be able to work off leash and should exhibit appropriate behavior. All owners and dogs must follow FCPA Dog Park Rules. Owners are REQUIRED to clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste in designated areas.


ACTion! Pop Star Spotlight (7-14yrs)

(7-14 yrs.) In this one-week camp by Moonlit Wings Productions, young performers channel their favorite pop stars like Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and the Jonas Brothers. Take center stage singing and dancing to your favorite radio hits and acting in original scenes/skits. Young performers enjoy improvisation games, character creation, a talent show and more! Family/friends enjoy a mini performance on Friday. Rec Center camps include an afternoon swim break. No camp June 19. Once registered, download camp forms from website.


Adventures in STEM with LEGOs® (5-7 yrs)

(5-7 yrs.) Power up your engineering skills with Play-Well TEKnologies. Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering and architecture through engineer-designed projects using tens of thousands of LEGOs. Adventurers will design interesting objects like tugboats, space shuttles and the Eiffel Tower. Explorers will design tow trucks, motorized bowlers, and battletanks. No camp June 19 and July 4-5. Adventures on the Farm (6-10 yrs)

(6-10 yrs.) Discover what life is like on the farm with fun games and crafts. Campers will visit the farm, go on nature hikes, play games and make a tie-dye creation. All About Animals (4-6 yrs)

(4-6 yrs.) Do you know how many teeth a pig has? How high can a goat jump? Learn fun facts about farm and forest animals. Create daily animal crafts, visit the farm animals, plus songs and games. All About Horses Summer Camp (11-14 yrs.)

(11-14 yrs.) Campers learn about tacking, grooming, general horse care and barn chores and enjoy daily 30-minute riding lessons. Other horse-related fun and activities include arts and crafts, equine speakers and breed demos. Bring snack, lunch and drink. Wear proper shoes/boots, comfortable clothes, riding breeches or long, tight stretchy pants. Spirit Equestrian provides campers with a helmet, but if you choose to bring your own helmet, it must be ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet. No camp June 19 and July 3-4. Animal Science Merit Badge

This program satisfies most of the requirements to earn the badge. Scouts must complete all prework before the start of class. Pre-work and program details available at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/scouts. Scouts unable to complete all requirements may receive partial credit from their merit badge counselor.


Animal Tea Party

(4-7 yrs.) Join us for a cozy tea party on the farm! Bring your favorite stuffed animal, help us decorate for the party and read a story. We will enjoy drinks and cookies in a special environmentally friendly tea set and meet one of our animals.


Applause! Movie Musicals (7-14yrs)

(7-14 yrs.) In this Moonlit Wings Productions’ two-week camp, young performers bring Hollywood favorites from the screen to the stage. Create original scenes and songs inspired by hits like Wonka, Hamilton and The Little Mermaid. Dive into hilarious scenes, learn jokes and jam to musical numbers. Young performers shine through improvisation games, character creation, and a talent show. Rec Center camps may include swim-time. Family/friends enjoy a mini performance on the last day.
