It introduces essential skills such as making a slip knot, holding the hook and yarn, creating a foundation chain and working basic stitches (chain, single, half double and double crochet). By the end of the class, students will have a strong foundation and the confidence to continue crocheting on their own. (13-Adult) There's more to photography than just using the automatic setting. Topics include your camera's controls, resolution, flash, composition, stop motion and close ups. Artist and instructor Caroline Hottenstein shows you how to use the media of your choice - a micron pen, watercolor, graphite or colored pencils to illustrate them. (16-Adult) Learn the basic skills and shapes to felt wool into animals, and practice as you make needle felted birds to take home. Spend an afternoon learning and creating animals that make wonderful decorations and gifts. All supplies for two birds included. Take home a felting kit to continue crafting at home.

(8-Adult) Discover how to turn simple looking colorful paper strips into beautiful work of art. In this workshop you will create 3D colorful mushrooms and mount them on the wooden disc.
