(Adults) Immerse yourselves into the wilderness with our all-adult adventure camp! Join a group of women to learn practical primitive skills and how protect the outdoors through leave no trace principles. Activities include rock climbing along the Potomac in Carderock MD (transportation not included), paddling, fire building, outdoor cooking, archery, setting up a campsite, and foraging. No camp June 19.
(7-99 yrs.) Learn about influential women trailblazers of the past and leave with important life skills and knowledge to survive and protect the outdoors. Activities include rock climbing along the Potomac in Carderock MD (transportation not included), paddling, fire building, outdoor cooking, archery, and foraging. This camp satisfies requirements for numerous Girl Scout outdoor skills badges, however you do not need to be a scout to attend. School-aged campers and their guardian must register together. No camp July 3.
(9-13 yrs.) Learn about influential women trailblazers of the past and leave with important life skills and knowledge to survive and protect the outdoors. This camp satisfies requirements for numerous Girl Scout outdoor skills badges, however you do not need to be a scout to attend.
(8-12 yrs.) Join Baroody Camps for an all-female river adventure camp where you can paddle alongside other girls and develop the skills necessary to become a fishing pro. This week will be spent all outdoors exploring the Potomac River through kayaking, island-hopping, dip-netting, fishing, and more. Immerse yourself in this unique and rare aquatic ecosystem, learn about influential women who took action to protect the environment, and find out how you can be stewards of our river too! Prior kayaking experience recommended but not required.
