(16-Adult) Introduction to intermediate instruction using pinch, slab and coil methods to create either functional or abstract pieces. Glazing and techniques for textures and other decorations are included. Class fee includes 25 lbs. of clay and three hours of lab time. (5-12 yrs.) Mix pottery with tasty treats in this Mudskippers camp. First, hand-build your very own mini serveware—perfect for holding cookies, cupcakes, and other goodies. Then, roll up your sleeves to bake, design, and decorate delicious sweets. Your pottery will be fired in our kiln so you’ll have real, functional artwork you can keep forever. At the end of camp, celebrate with a special art show. This is a hand-building camp—no pottery wheels are used. No camp July 3.
