(5 ½-12 yrs.) In this action-packed week with Metro Movement, campers will enjoy gymnastics, rhythm-and-dance movement skills, games and activities. Gymnastics apparatus includes tumbling, inflatable floor, bars, beam, and vault. Rec Center camps include an afternoon swim break. A signed participation release is due on the first day.
(5 ½ - 12 yrs.) Immerse yourself in music and movement inspired by the Era Queen in this Metro Movement camp. Through daily dance routines set to Swift songs, your camper will learn foundational dance skills. Rec Center camps include an afternoon swim break. A signed participation release is due on the first day. No camp July 3.
(6-12 yrs.) Skyhawks Athletes will learn the rules and essential skills of each sport, along with vital life lessons such as sportsmanship, inclusion and teamwork. Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, lunch, sunscreen and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certificate and Skyhawks t-shirt. No camp July 3.
(5 ½-12 yrs.) Be a ninja games warrior in this action-packed Metro Movement camp. Learn tumbling skills, jump across the floating steps and compete in our floor-based obstacle course challenge. Rec Center camps include an afternoon swim break. A signed participation release is due on the first day. No camp June 19 and July 3.
(13-Adult) Pickleball Pay to Play at SCC programs are not included with class registrations. This program is designed for individuals and groups to register for hourly Pickleball court rentals. The sessions are open to all players of all levels. There are two courts set up with Pickleball nets. Everyone brings their own paddles and balls. All players must be registered to play. Registration is valid for a single one-hour session. To play additional sessions players must register for those sessions.
(7-12 yrs.) Combine STEM-based activities with traditional Skyhawks sports instruction and a focus on life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. The STEM Sports® curriculum allows campers to get behind the sports they love with modules centered around technology, science and innovation. Subjects vary by sport, but include ball design, calculating distances and angles, velocity and acceleration. Participants learn the fundamentals of each sport through skill-based drills and scrimmages.
(7-12 yrs.) Combine strategic STEM-based activities with traditional Skyhawks sports instruction and a focus on life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. (5-7 yrs) Get a head start on the spring T-ball season. Skill development includes base running, hitting off tee, throwing and catching. Bring a baseball glove.
(5 ½-12 yrs.) In this Metro Movement camp, taught by former NFL, NBA, collegiate and other trained cheerleaders and gymnasts, campers will enjoy tumbling, cheers, stunt skills, and games. Bring lunch, snack, drink. Rec Center camps include an afternoon swim break. A signed participation release form is due on the first day.
