(8-12 yrs.) This class is for individuals with mild intellectual and developmental disabilities. Emphasis on the development of basketball skills including dribbling, passing, and shooting.
(7-12 yrs.) A great camp for high-level swimmers. Activities include water safety, swim clinics, water relays and water sports like volleyball and basketball. Campers also enjoy out-of-pool games/activities. Prerequisite: child must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted, pass a swim test, be comfortable in deep water and tread water for two minutes. Bring at least two swimsuits, two towels, snacks, lunch, and water bottle. No camp June 19 and July 3. FCPS last day of school June 17.
(6-12 yrs.) Join One on One Basketball where the focus is basketball and other team sports each day. Campers play soccer, kickball, hand ball and capture the flag. Camp will be held outdoors as much as possible. Rec Center camp locations include an afternoon swim break. No camp June 19.
Customers with a Rec Center membership or account can select a ticket for timed entry for Basketball Sessions. Basketball sessions are for public open play. Play format restrictions may be in place based on court availability. Ticket is valid for one session only. Players must have a ticket for each session. Each player must book their own ticket, no group reservations. Basketball Tickets are required for prime time (weekdays 3:30 pm – 9pm, and all-day Saturday, Sunday and holidays). Check the center website for gym schedules. By booking a ticket you are only reserving a spot to play, not an entire court.
(10-16 yrs.) Shooting is the most essential skill in basketball. With modern offenses geared towards five perimeter players, shooting has become paramount on all teams at all levels. Focus will on reworking shooting mechanics for maximum accuracy, developing a lightning-quick release and discovering the mindset and training required to become a better shooter.
(6-12 yrs.) One on One has been running camps for over 25 years and features real-game action. Campers of all skill levels will participate in drills and contests before daily game play. Participants are divided by age and ability. The week concludes with Championship Friday. Rec Center camps include an afternoon swim break. No camp July 3.
(6-12 yrs.) This JST camp gives your young athlete a chance to try out a different sport every day: basketball, flag football, soccer, baseball and tennis. Rec Center camps include an afternoon swim break. No camp July 3.
(6-13 yrs.) This camp delivers all the classics (basketball, soccer, flag football, kickball) with a unique competitive twist. Campers rotate through two core sports in the morning and one in the afternoon, earning points for their “squad” in skill stations, mini-games, and scrimmages. Teams track their progress on a camp scoreboard, competing for daily awards like Hustle, Sharp Shooter, or Playmaker. The week concludes with the Overtime Athletics Champions Cup, a multi-sport tournament and medal ceremony that crowns the overall squad champions.
(6-14 yrs.) FLAG FOOTBALL & BASKETBALL: This unique One on One camp focuses on two sports each day to improve camper’s skills. Work on fundamentals with drills and contests before playing regular games. Camp will be held outdoors as much as possible. Rec Center campers should bring a swimsuit/towel for afternoon swim time if pool is available. No camp June 19 and July 3.
(6-12 yrs.) Players learn the fundamentals of two sports through drills and matches incorporating skills learned. Full day camps bring swimsuit/towel daily for afternoon swim break.

Activities include dribble tag, hot seat and ultimate knockout. Bring lunch, drink and swimsuit/towel for afternoon swim break.
