Maximize Your Search Results Enter the activity title in the Search Text field for the quickest search. To conduct a broader search, we recommend applying multiple filters for the most precise and efficient search experience. This approach helps narrow down your options and minimizes the number of pages you need to browse. Feel free to experiment with different combinations to find exactly what you're looking for.
(6-Adult) Use your eyes and ears to identify native birds as you embark on a guided walk with one of our naturalists. Both beginner birders and veterans welcome. Bring your own binoculars or use one of ours.
(8-Adult) Celebrate Black History Month by exploring the history and contributions of Black birders, scientists and conservationists. Learn how birding connects people to nature through a short presentation, make a pinecone bird feeder to support backyard birds, and head outside for a guided bird walk to practice your observation skills.
(12-Adult) Hone your birding skills on the trail and learn to play our favorite bird themed board game: Wingspan. We will enjoy a round or more of this wonderful boardgame and take a bird walk in the park. All skill levels welcome.
(4-Adult) Take a hike through the woods with a naturalist to listen and look for the park’s winter avian residents and migrants. Find out what birds do to survive the winter weather. Feel free to bring your own guides, binoculars and spotting scopes. Site will have a limited number of supplies for participants to borrow for the duration of the program.
