(Adults) Pickleball is a fast-paced paddle sport that combines tennis, table tennis and badminton. Join us to learn the rules of the game, the basics and practice skills. Campers will work together as a team while competing in lightly competitive tournament style matches. Once registered, download camp forms from website.
(8-12 yrs) This camp offers morning outdoor sports (ex. basketball, pickleball, flag football, soccer), and afternoon swim instruction, swim activities like races and organized games, with free swim. Kids should be able to swim 25 yards unassisted, able to swim in deep water, and tread for 2 minutes. Bring a snack, water bottle, lunch, 2 swimsuits, 2 towels, change of clothes, and sunscreen. Pickleball is an easy-to-learn, mini tennis-like game that combines elements of tennis, badminton, table tennis and racquetball. In this indoor class students learn basic pickleball skills and how to play doubles while being active and improving fitness. Paddles and balls provided.
(Adults) Prerequisite: Pickleball I. This outdoor class focuses on improving essential skills including dinks, volleys, forehands, backhands, serves and doubles strategy. Paddles balls provided.
(Adults) Prerequisite: Pickleball II. Class focuses on doubles strategy and execution.
(Adults) Prerequisite: Pickleball 3. Participants rally with other players alongside a certified coach in this outdoor program. Individuals benefit from varied play and timely coaching for boosting their pickleball game and fun. Focus is on executing strokes with increasing consistency.
(65 yrs.+) This outdoor, slower paced class focuses on basic pickleball skills and how to play doubles while being active and improving fitness. Paddles and balls provided.
(65 yrs.+) Prerequisite: previous pickleball class or experience. This outdoor, slower paced class focuses on improving essential skills including dinks, volleys, forehands, backhands and the serve. Doubles strategy is introduced. Paddles and balls provided.
(60 yrs.+) Improve your game and learn how to reduce the risk of injuries related to this popular sport. Exercises presented will help improve your agility, balance, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
(13-Adult) Pickleball Play programs are not included with class registration. There is no charge to register for a pickleball play program. Upon arrival at the site, if the player does not have a membership, daily admission must be paid. The sessions are open to all players of all levels. Everyone must bring their own paddle and balls. The Rec Center will provide the nets. All players must be registered to play. Registration is valid for a single one-hour session. Players must register for additional sessions to play beyond one hour.
