Family Fun - Aquatic Adventures

(4-Adult) Our aquatic ecosystems are bursting with activity in the summertime. Come learn all about the amazing animals that live there such as turtles, tadpoles, fish and dragonflies. You are sure to see some spectacular creatures as we study their habitats and activities. Binoculars and magnifying glasses will be provided. Wear old shoes that can get wet and muddy. All attendees, including parents, must be registered for the program.


Native Animal Explorers(7-11 yrs)

(7-11 yrs.) Fish & Explore transports campers off-site to hike trails, wade in streams and walk pond and lake shores to find native wildlife. Campers observe, catch, photograph and release frogs, toads, tadpoles, salamanders, lizards, turtles, crayfish, minnows and other small critters. Wear sneakers and bring lunch, snack, river shoes, change of clothes and towel. A signed waiver form is required. Once registered, download camp forms from website.


Paddle & Explore (8-12 yrs.)

(8-12 yrs.) Fish & Explore takes campers off-site to learn kayaking skills while getting up close to native wildlife along waterways, ponds and lakes. Beach stops allow campers to wade and observe, catch, photograph and release frogs, toads, tadpoles, salamanders, lizards, turtles and other small critters. Life jackets are provided and required while kayaking. Bring lunch, snack, water bottle, change of clothes, sneakers or river shoes and towel. A signed waiver form is required. Reptile Rangers Camp (4-6 yrs.)

(4-6 yrs.) Learn about the cool characteristics of creatures such as snakes, turtles, frogs and other cold-blooded animals. Activities include hikes to the wetland, arts and crafts, games, animal encounters and hands-on activities. Once registered, download camp forms from website.


Reptile Rangers Camp (4-8yrs)

Snake and Turtle Feeding

(4-Adult) Enjoy a brief presentation and demonstration by our animal caretaker staff. At least one snake, two turtles and a toad will be fed. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.


Toddler Time - Terrific Turtles

(2-4 yrs.) Meet one of our turtles and explore nature through indoor and outdoor activities including a craft. Children must be accompanied by an adult.


Totally Turtles

(3-Adult) Join us for this exciting new program to meet and learn about our native turtles. Learn about their behaviors, diet, and more.
