Camp Riverbend (6-9 yrs)

(6-9 yrs.) In this week-long outdoor sampler, campers will participate in rock climbing, meeting our exhibit animals, fishing, hiking, exploring wildlife and taking a park wagon ride. Different themes each day teach primitive skills while enjoying outdoor recreation and a campfire cookout. Once registered, download camp forms from website.


Campfire Wagon Ride

(2-Adult) Enjoy an intimate after hours experience at the farm as day turns to night. Register for a wagon ride time and enjoy the bonfire after your ride. Staff will provide marshmallows for roasting but feel free to bring along any other treat for yourselves.


Fish and Float

(16-Adult) Begin your search for trophy smallmouth bass on the upper Potomac with an experienced instructor. Participants will embark on a wagon ride upstream and float downstream on kayaks in search of smallmouth bass using spinning gear.


Hot Dog, Smores, Wagon Ride & Campfire

(4-Adult) Meets at Cabell's Mill. Enjoy a turkey hot dog supper roasted over the campfire and a brisk wagon ride through the Rocky Run stream valley. Discover who Ellanor C. Lawrence was and learn about the areas local and natural history. We provide hot dogs, buns, condiments and s'mores. Feel free to bring your own drinks and sides. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.


Little Farm Hands (4-6yrs)

(4-6 yrs.) Campers will make crafts, tour the farm, meet a different animal each day and enjoy rides on the carousel and wagon. No camp July 4. Once registered, download camp forms from website.


Spring Break at Frying Pan Park (8-12yrs)-sp

(8-12 yrs) Spend a week at the park discovering history, farm animals, crops, gardening, a wagon ride, and other nature activities. Each day will have a different theme. Bring snack, lunch, and water bottle daily. Once registered, download camp forms from website.


Spring Farm Day

(2-Adult) Watch sheep shearing and antique farm equipment demonstrations. See cow and goat milking demos and participate in hands-on farm activities. Enjoy crafts, games and get an up-close introduction to the baby farm animals. One wagon ride included with each paid admission. Cost is $12 per person aged 2 and older before May 3. Walk-ins welcome, $14 at the door on the day of the event.


Wagon Ride

Take a tour of Frying Pan in style as you learn about past and present farming traditions. You will see the entirety of the park including the equestrian facilities, forested areas, crop fields and farm animals. Rides depart from the Country Store.
