Flight School - Wings, Wind, and Wonder

(5-Adult) Discover the amazing secrets of flight by studying natures most skilled aviators. In this hands-on program, participants will explore how birds, bats and bugs achieve flight, while also inspiring innovations in aviation.


Little Acorns - Fall

(2-5 yrs.) Youngsters and their accompanying adult begin sharing nature’s wonders in this interactive class. Experience includes meeting animals, stories, games and outdoor exploration. Dress for the weather. Quiet infants welcome. Topics covered are: 9/8 Squirrels, 9/15 Whitetail Deer, 9/22 All About Autumn, 9/29 Birds Fly South, 10/6 Bones, 10/20 Pumpkins, 10/27 Halloween Fun, 11/3 Bats, 11/10 Bear Buddies, 11/17 Animals Getting Ready for Winter and 11/24 Turkeys.


Turkey Dip (6-Adult)

(6-Adult) Turkey Dip is a change from your typical Turkey Trot this race will give participants the opportunity to challenge themselves with either a 500-yard, 250-yard, 100-yard or 25-yard swim (partner swim) snaking through the swimming pool. Participants will earn a one of a kind "Turkey Dip" t-shirt and will be eligible for race day raffles! The Turkey Dip is open to all levels of swimmers. *If a 25-yard participant needs to swim with a parent or use a swim vest that will be allowed. Only registered participants will be eligible for a t-shirt. T-shirt will be guaranteed to participants who register before November 11th- then it will be first come first serve.


Winter Lecture - Moon Gardens

(16-Adult) Designed as a tranquil, rejuvenating retreat for the end of the day, a moon garden comes to life at twilight and into the night. Discover with Green Spring horticulturist, Pam Smith, how to cultivate this serene space with plants that glow softly in the dark and foliage that shimmers in the moonlight. Silvery leaves and luminous blooms not only create a magical atmosphere but also attract nocturnal wildlife—watch bats swoop for mosquitoes, lunar and hummingbird moths visit moonflowers, and fireflies dance through the air, evoking memories of warm summer nights.
