(16-Adult) Each season features a thoughtfully chosen novel with botanical or garden themes. You'll gather twice—first for a pre-reading welcoming circle to meet fellow readers, enjoy refreshments, receive your guide and then again post-reading for a lively book discussion and a hands-on activity that brings the story to life. From hidden gardens to wild landscapes, members explore rich, immersive stories that celebrate growth, connection and the natural world—one season at a time. Spring read: The Twilight Garden by Sara Nisha Adams. Activity: Botanical Twilight Garden Collage. Program meeting dates are Mar. 21 and May 23.
(3-Adult) When evening shadows spread over Kidwell Farm, it is time to put the animals to bed. Bring your flashlight or lantern for this twilight tour and learn how our farm animals settle down for the night. Dress for the weather. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
(6-Adult) Join a park naturalist for a guided walk along the forested paths to the wetland and experience the park as it transitions from day into night. Watch and listen for nocturnal residents such as beavers and owls.
(12-Adult) Watch the sunset on the lake as the wildlife settles in for the night, then return to the dock by the light of the moon. Single kayaks and all equipment provided.
(Adults) Historic Huntley sits high upon a hill overlooking Hybla Valley and Huntley Meadows Park that is even more dramatic and stunning by the setting sun. Join us after hours for a special tour and see the house in a different light. Light refreshments served afterward. Dress appropriately for the weather.
