(7-14 yrs.) In this camp by Moonlit Wings, kids step into the spotlight and feel the Broadway magic come alive! Sing, dance, and act along to your favorite show tunes while exploring new activities every session and original scripts, inspired by popular musicals. Adapted Park Explorers (6-11 yrs)

(6-11 yrs.) See the best that our park has to offer with topics that fit your interests. Explore different features of the park with hands-on science and nature activities tailored to young people with disabilities. A different topic each month. Parents must be accessible during the program but are not required to register.

Adventures on the Farm (6-10 yrs)

(6-10 yrs.) Discover what life is like on the farm with fun games and crafts. Campers will visit the farm, go on nature hikes, play games and make a tie-dye creation. AKC Trick Dog (14-Adult)

(14-Adult) Prerequisite: Completion of Fairfax County Dog Obedience 1 or instructor permission. Trick training allows an owner and dog to bond in a creative, fun way and helps improve a dog’s focus, confidence, and impulse control while building on the basic cues learned in Dog Obedience 1. Students will have the opportunity to take the AKC Novice and/or Advanced Trick Dog tests and earn an AKC title. Canine Good Citizen behaviors will also be practiced in class. Dogs must be at least 8 months old and show no signs of aggression.

All About Animals (4-6 yrs)

(4-6 yrs.) Do you know how many teeth a pig has? How high can a goat jump? Learn fun facts about farm and forest animals. Create daily animal crafts, visit the farm animals, plus songs and games. All About Horses Summer Camp (8-10 yrs.)

(8-10 yrs.) Campers learn about tacking, grooming, general horse care and barn chores and enjoy daily 30-minute riding lessons. Other horse-related fun and activities include arts and crafts, equine speakers and breed demos. Bring snack, lunch and drink. Wear proper shoes/boots, comfortable clothes, riding breeches or long, tight stretchy pants. Spirit Equestrian provides campers with a helmet, but if you choose to bring your own helmet, it must be ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet. No camp June 19 and July 3-4. Animal Science Merit Badge

This program satisfies most of the requirements to earn the badge. Scouts must complete all prework before the start of class. Pre-work and program details available at Scouts unable to complete all requirements may receive partial credit from their merit badge counselor.

Animal Tea Party

(4-7 yrs.) Join us for a cozy tea party on the farm! Bring your favorite stuffed animal, help us decorate for the party and read a story. We will enjoy drinks and cookies in a special environmentally friendly tea set and meet one of our animals.

Applause! Movie Musicals (7-14yrs)

(7-14 yrs.) In this Moonlit Wings Productions’ two-week camp, young performers bring Hollywood favorites from the screen to the stage. Create original scenes and songs inspired by hits like Wonka, The Little Mermaid, and other familiar favorites chosen especially for each group. Dive into hilarious scenes, learn jokes and jam to musical numbers. Young performers shine through improvisation games, character creation, and a talent show. Rec Center camps may include swim-time. Ballroom Dancing I (13+) Couples only

(13-Adult) This class introduces you to traditional American ballroom dance basics. Learn proper dance position and how to lead and follow. Dances include foxtrot, waltz, rumba and cha-cha. Each student must register. ~

(13-Adult) Prerequisite: Ballroom I or equivalent. Each student must register. ~

Baroody Website Design (9-13yrs)

(9-13 yrs.) Using an intuitive website builder, campers discover the fundamentals of website design, responsive layouts, and multimedia integration. Instructors provide a supportive and hands-on learning environment, encouraging children to develop their creativity and digital skills. Carousel Rides

Take a ride on an antique classic or enjoy a spin on a modern wonder! What better way is there to enjoy the afternoon with your kids than to take a ride on one of the Park Authority's carousels? Enjoy the sites and sounds of our rides and let the rest of the world fade away into a blur. Our carousels offer both undulating and stationary seating.
