Farm Skills- Wool Crafting

(7-14) Sheep are important animals to livestock farmers as they can provide milk, meat, and fiber. Learn to wash fleece by hand and discover how to prepare wool for spinning by using a drum carder. Then, make a hand spun wool bracelet or felted wool flower. One adult must accompany each registered child in this program.

Needle Felted Wool Workshop

(12- Adult) Wool fiber is an important farm product that can be used in many ways. Needle felting is a way of shaping wool into three dimensional art. Learn needle felting basics and make a project to take home. One registered adult must accompany each registered child in this program.
